Hot Air Sealing

The OPTF 120/60 machine also be provided with a hot air sealing system. The system consists of a annular heater, which heats only the top edge of the tube. This is followed by a crimping station where the end is sealed, and the price/ date of manufacture, is embossed. Finally the cutting station cuts the top end to deliver a neatly sealed tube.

Tube orientation device

The purpose of the tube orientation device is to turn the tube so that the printing is in the right position in relation to the fold. A proximity switch attached to the shaft of the machine sends a signal to the stepper motor to start rotating the tubes, with the help of cones. The motor stops as soon as the photo sensor senses the mark on the tube. The entire operation is controlled by a solid state electronic controller.

Cassette Tube in feed device

The purpose of the Cassette in feed device is to in feed the tubes into the tube holder. The system consists of two cassettes where in about 200 tubes can be filled at a time, the tubes are then fed into the tube holders one by one, with the help of pneumatic cylinders. The entire operation is fully automatic requiring a person only to load tubes into the cassettes. The entire operation is controlled by a solid state electronic controller.

Jacketed Hopper

A stainless steel hopper with water jacket, electrical heater, electronic temperature control, indicator and stirrer can be provided.
